Science and technology are ubiquitous aspects of our lives, ranging from the mundane to the hyper-complex, and often figure centrally in both everyday life and major world events. At the Professorship, Science and Technology Studies is not only an academic field, but also an opportunity to engage with pressing societal issues and engage government and the public in constructive dialog over political, cultural, and social issues relating to our releationships with science and technology.
